The United States Military Academy's football program is represented by the Army Black Knights. They play in the Independent division of NCAA FBS, and have been crowned national champions three times. Michie Stadium, opened in 1924, is where the Knights play their home games; it is located on campus in West Point, New York. Currently seating about 40,000, the stadium is regularly packed with fans eager to see their heroes take to the field.
