The Beach Boys, an American music group formed in 1961, are one of the most influential bands in the history of rock and pop music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and were listed #12 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "100 Greatest Artists of All Time." Their album "Pet Sounds" is considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Founder Mike Love often tours with a band under the name "Beach Boys" without original members Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, so please check with the venue for details.
