2011 NCAA Football Season Kickoff: LSU-Oregon tickets heating up
With the possibility of a missed NFL season still looming, football fans are focused on the college season. The NCAA knows they have a chance to seriously capture the attention of the nation, and this year they are kicking the season off in a big way. The LSU Tigers and the Oregon Ducks, two perennial powerhouses and this year, two Top 10 teams, will square off at Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium. You can be sure that the stadium will be at capacity for the kickoff to the NCAA College Football season.
Both teams are coming off great seasons. The Ducks were undefeated and ranked #1 in the nation going in to the BCS National Championship title game. They lost by three to Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers. The Ducks enter the 2011 season ready to make another bid for a national title.
The LSU Tigers had a disappointing year, by Tigers’ standards. LSU went 11-2 on the season, beating Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl. For most schools, that’s a stellar season, but Tigers’ fans have high expectations. LSU consistently has some of the best traveling fans, so expect lots of LSU fans in Dallas this September.
