Aerosmith Announces U.S. Summer Tour – Aerosmith Tickets on Sale Today
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010One of the world’s greatest rock and roll bands is coming back to the United States. Yes, Steven Tyler and the gang announced yesterday their U.S. summer tour, “Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock” tour. And they aren’t wasting any time. Presale Aerosmith tickets go on sale today for select cities.
According to Steven Tyler, “I thought it was time to get my MOJO back, by rockin South America and Europe with a little HOME RUN at Boston’s Fenway Park thrown in and then off to the rest of America to do what we do best! We’re gonna rock you into the middle of next week!”
And rock is what this crew does best. Formed in 1971, Aerosmith is the best-selling American rock band of all time, having sold more than 150 million albums worldwide. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and in 2005 they were ranked #57 in Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
Aerosmith called off their 2009 summer tour after Tyler fell off the stage and was injured. So let’s just keep our fingers crossed that this tour goes off without a hitch.
Fans bummed they missed last year’s tour can scoop up their Aerosmith tickets starting today.
