The concert season continues to rock as music fans have an amazing array of live event choices, led by the return of Blink 182.  Tom DeLonge has checked out from his Angels and Airwaves duty.  The band has rescheduled a few shows, as Travis Barker, who miraculously survived that harrowing jet crash with DJ AM, now mourns the loss of his friend.

During August, big movers as the most searched for artist on FanSnap were the American Idols tour, Lil Wayne, and U2.  Britney and Miley moved into the top 15 “hot list” this month, as did Kings of Leon, touring on the strength of their superhot single “Use Somebody.”

One important note if you buy Miley Cyrus tickets.  The entire shows are paperless - or “will call” only - so if you buy tickets, be prepared to meet the seller at the show to be escorted in.  As result, you will notice fewer available tickets and generally higher prices than otherwise would be the case.
