Pollstar recently published numbers stating that Bon Jovi was the highest grossing artist of the world this year, topping $200 million in ticket sales. With just a few days left in 2010, Billboard has unveiled the top 10 tours of the year. Rock on! There are more Bon Jovi tickets on the way. That’s because our favorite Jersey rockers (okay some of our favorites…we love you too Bruce!) just announced their 2011 tour!
The spring tour features 16 dates and will kick off on February 9 in State College, PA. As of now it wraps up March 25 in Toronto, ON, but there’s always hope that Jon, Richie and the gang will add some additional stops.
The tour will support the band’s Greatest Hits set that comes out Nov. 9. Greatest Hits will be out in a one-disc and two-disc version. The one-disc, 16-song configuration includes two new songs, including a new single “What Do You Got?.” Greatest Hits – The Ultimate Collection will feature 28 tracks and two additional, brand-new songs. So it’ll be the greatest hits, plus two.
So scoop up your Bon Jovi tickets starting Nov. 1 and then sit back and get a teaser by catching the band’s upcoming appearances on “The Today Show,” Nov. 12; A&E’s “Private Sessions,” Nov. 17; “The American Music Awards,” Nov. 21; “Larry King Live,” Nov. 22; “Ellen,” Nov. 23 and CNN’s “Heroes,” Nov. 25. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the hottest selling band of them all? Well, if you guessed AC/DC tickets, you are correct! Yes, according to Pollstar, AC/DC has sold 1,820,962 tickets this year. Bon Jovi tickets come in second place, but are still nearly half a million behind. However, AC/DC is done for the year and Bon Jovi still has a few dates to go. Think the Jersey rockers can beat the Aussies? We’ll have to wait to find out.

Bon Jovi tickets are the hottest sellers for the month of June according to Billboard. The magazine just announced that Bon Jovi’s Circle Tour topped their Hot Tours chart last month, based on the strong success from the European leg of their tour. Now the Jersey natives are headed back home, kicking off their North American portion tomorrow night at where else, the Meadowlands.
Bon Jovi tickets to Meadowlands shows have been in high demand. The band was the first to perform at the new venue earlier this year, rocking out for three straight nights in May in front of sold out. Now they are back for just one night.
A quick search for Bon Jovi tickets and we found a number of options, including some starting as low as $94.
What songs should concert goers expect? Well that could be up to you. The band asked its Facebook community what they wanted to hear and got more than 2,000 responses!

Unable to Runaway to the New Meadowlands last night? You can still get Bon Jovi tickets for tonight’s and tomorrow’s shows in the stadium, which was recently named the host of 2014 Super Bowl.
The New Jersey natives are in the middle of their The Circle Tour, the group’s largest tour in more than 20 years.
So what was it like inside the $1.6 billion stadium? According to NJ.com, Jon Bon Jovi took the stage at 8:45 p.m., raised his right fist in the air and launched into a stadium-shaking renditions of “Blood on Blood,” “We Weren’t Born to Follow” and “You Give Love a Bad Name.” The packed house of 55,000 screamed for most of the show!
According to bonjovi.com, Bon Jovi has tapped Dashboard Confessional to appear as special guest on select North American dates of their 2010-2011 “The Circle World Tour.” Dashboard Confessional will perform the opening set at Bon Jovi’s concerts in Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Philadelphia and Las Vegas. Other dates are TBA.
Dashboard Confessional debuted in 2000 with Swiss Army Romance. The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (2001), A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar (2003), and Dusk and Summer (2006), and The Shade of Poison Trees (2007) were gold records. Dashboard Confessional’s latest release, Alter the Ending, was released in November.

Bon Jovi kicks off the Circle World Tour in Seattle’s Key arena on February 19. Richie Sambora, Jon Bon Jovi and the boys just added another date to the Seattle tour stop.
