2011 NBA Playoffs Tickets Comparison: Round 1
Thursday, April 14th, 2011Ask any fan around the country, and they’ll tell you that this NBA season was one of the best — at least for on- and off-court drama. Starting with an off-season during which we saw Lebron James and Chris Bosh take their talents to Miami, joining Dwyane Wade on what looked like — at least on paper — a consensus NBA Finals favorite. The other teams active in the LeBron sweepstakes, the Knicks, acquired Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony while the Bulls effectively stood pat and then quietly ended the year with the best record in the NBA. The Eastern Conference Champion Celtics dealt Kendrick Perkins to Oklahoma City in a move that some say potentially took the Celtics out of championship contention. Needless to say, there was no shortage of interesting storylines. Many of which had dramatic impacts on ticket demand.
All that and the best of the NBA season is yet to come. As we anticipate the tip-off to the NBA post season, we thought we’ve have a look and see which team’s fans are most anticipating the playoffs.
