If there was ever a time to clear your calender for pig-skin related priorities, this is the weekend to do it. Between Thursday Night Football (Texans @ Eagles), Saturday’s NCAA championship games, Sunday’s slew of games, and Mondays paramount match-up of rivals (Jets @ Pats), you have every reason in the world to forgo putting up those holiday decorations for a few more days.
Our FanDemand rankings are back for Week 13, and some of the usual suspects occupy the top six.
FanDemand Game Rankings, Week 13
- Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens: $457
- New York Jets @ New England Patriots, MNF: $325
- Dallas Cowboys @ Indianapolis Colts: $292
- Washington Redskins @ New York Giants: $255
- Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers: $249
- San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers, Sunday: $184
- Debate all you will about which rivalry is more intense, but our FanDemand ranks show Steelers-Ravens tickets are in greater demand this weekend with a $130 higher average ticket price. Both teams are 8-3, both teams are gunning for first place in the AFC North, and both teams are gunning for a win on Sunday night.
- Even though Jets-Patriots tickets are significantly lower in our FanDemand, expect fireworks on Monday night. Brady has been playing like an MVP quarterback lately, but the staunch Jets defense will do their best to shut them down. It’s going to be a good one in Foxboro.
- The ‘Boys are 2-1 since firing Wade Phillips, and a win against an injured Colts team would really brighten the mood down in Dallas.
- Phillip Rivers looks like he may break Dan Marino’s passing record this season, and we all know what the Chargers can do in the last quarter of the season (hint: they win, a lot). Fans in SoCal are getting stoked on their home team… its kind of nice to see the Bolts within the ranks of the FanDemand.
FanSnap can help fans get the best deals on NFL tickets for the rest of the regular season and through the playoffs.

Last weekend was intense in the NFL. Helmet-to-helmet hits landed players on the sidelines, and have NFL officials seriously considering how to handle something that has long been considered “part of the game.” On a lighter note, there was some great football around the league this weekend.
Deion Branch returned to the New England Patriots who beat the Baltimore Ravens in OT. The Dolphins also beat the Packers in overtime. The Jets came back, somewhat controversially, to beat the Broncos late in the fourth quarter. The Texans also had a fourth quarter comeback against the Chiefs. Close games, and the absence of an undefeated team, all show just how competitive the league is this year.
Below are FanDemand rankings for Week #7 (this week, with graphs!).
NFL FanDemand Week 7: Game Rankings
- Washington Redskins @ Chicago Bears: $431.00
- Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers: $345.00
- New England Patriots @ San Diego Chargers: $260.00
- Cleveland Browns @ New Orleans Saints: $256.00
- New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys: $241.00
- Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens: $228
- As if Brett Favre isn’t in the news enough already, this weekend, he heads back to Green Bay to take on the Packers. There will be some drama here, so its not surprise to see Vikings-Packers tickets at the second spot in FanDemand.
- In a battle of East and West, the 4-1 Patriots take on the struggling 2-4 Chargers, who just lost back-to-back games to the Raiders and the Rams. San Diego fans need a win and Patriots-Chargers tickets are at #3 this week because of it.
- In all honesty, we’re a bit perplexed to have even seen the Buffalo Bills in our FanDemand analysis. Frankly, there isn’t anything exciting about this 0-5 team. Maybe we should applaud the Ravens fans who will pay top dollar to see their team dominate anyone. Because in the end, little stands between Flacco, Ray Rice and co. from taking this one with ease.
- America’s Team is looking pretty un-American this year with a Cowboys record of 1-4, and their Monday night game against the Giants is a must win.
NFL FanDemand Week 7: Team Rankings

- Chicago Bears tickets: $353.80
- New Orleans Saints tickets: $323.20
- New York Giants tickets: $306.50
- Pittsburgh Steelers tickets: $282.80
- Green Bay Packers tickets: $270.80
- New England Patriots tickets: $269.17
- Baltimore Ravens tickets: $268.50
- Dallas Cowboys tickets: $266.67
- Indianapolis Colts tickets: $249.17
- Philadelphia Eagles tickets: $240.60

Going in to Week 6 of the NFL season, there are no undefeated teams (but plenty of defeated ones: Bills, 49ers, and Panthers are all at 0-5). In lieu of making potentially crude remarks about Brett Favre, or analyzing the Moss-Branch swap in Boston, let’s just get right to it.
NFL FanDemand: Week 6 Match-ups
- Seattle Seahawks @ Chicago Bears 10/17/10: $363.00
- Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers 10/17/10: $350.00
- Minnesota Vikings @ Dallas Cowboys 10/17/10: $332.00
- Kansas City Chiefs @ Houston Texans 10/17/10: $331.00
- Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots 10/17/10: $260.00
- Detroit Lions @ New York Giants 10/17/10: $259.00
- At this point, it’s almost a given that you’ll see the Chicago Bears in the top of FanDemand. They take on the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, and Seahawks-Bears tickets are at #1 on this week’s rankings. Jay Cutler is said to be healthy again, and will get the start Sunday, so expect a strong performance by the home team.
- The Packers take on the Dolphins, where tickets are averaging $350. Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion last week, and if he can’t play, this game could be very interesting.
- In Dallas, the Cowboys await the arrival of Favre, Peterson, and recently re-acquired Randy Moss. Vikings-Cowboys tickets take spot #3 on this week’s FanDemand.
- The Texans got rolled at home against the New York Giants last weekend, but fans in Houston are still optimistic after a 3-2 start by their team. The 4-1 Chiefs are looking to bounce back off a loss to the Colts, who snapped their undefeated record. Chiefs-Texans tickets are fourth hottest in the country right now, averaging $331.
NFL FanDemand: Team Rankings
- Chicago Bears $351.17
- New Orleans Saints $339.40
- New York Giants $301.20
- Green Bay Packers $290.00
- Pittsburgh Steelers $285.17
- Dallas Cowboys $268.83
- Baltimore Ravens $263.67
- New England Patriots $260.00
- Indianapolis Colts $246.17
- Philadelphia Eagles $241.83
- New York Jets $205.80
Little to no change in the Team Rankings this week. It is interesting to see Bears tickets a whole $150 dollars above New York Jets tickets. The Giants and Jets share the same stadium, and even Giants tickets are almost $100 more than the Jets.
Patriots tickets seem to be locked into the back end of the top ten. After rising consistently for the past few weeks, they’re ticket prices have leveled off. And no matter how poor Dallas plays, Cowboys tickets are still at #6 this week.

Even though the NFL Season is still weeks away, fans, teams, and the media are getting excited for another year of NFL football.
ESPN.com recently published their “
2010 NFL Power Ranking,” which ranks all 32 NFL teams based on their overall talent and quality as a team. At FanSnap, we were curious to see how ESPN’s rankings matched up with tickets prices. That is to say, we wanted to create a “FanSnap NFL 2010 Pre-Season Ranking” list based on average NFL ticket prices in the secondary market for the upcoming season. Below are the results, with ESPN’s official Power Rankings in (parenthesis), just to the left of the average price.
FanSnap NFL 2010 Pre-Season Ranking: Average NFL ticket prices for upcoming season
- New York Giants tickets (16): $468
- New Orleans Saints tickets (2): $404
- Pittsburgh Steelers tickets (19): $390
- New York Jets tickets (7): $378
- Chicago Bears tickets (21): $377
- Philadelphia Eagles tickets (17): $374
- Dallas Cowboys tickets (4): $327
- Baltimore Ravens tickets (5): $316
- Washington Redskins tickets (20): $305
- San Diego Chargers tickets (10): $271
- Indianapolis Colts tickets (1): $264
- Detroit Lions tickets (29): $262
- Miami Dolphins tickets (13): $258
- San Francisco 49ers tickets (12): $246
- Arizona Cardinals tickets (15): $240
- Kansas City Chiefs tickets (27): $233
- Oakland Raiders tickets (24): $225
- Houston Texans tickets (14): $219
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers tickets (30): $206
- Cincinnati Bengals tickets (11): $205
- St. Louis Rams tickets (32): $203
- Denver Broncos tickets (23): $202
- Tennessee Titans tickets (18): $199
- Seattle Seahawks tickets (25): $191
- Green Bay Packers tickets (6): $189
- Minnesota Vikings tickets (3): $187
- New England Patriots tickets (9): $185
- Carolina Panthers tickets (22): $173
- Jacksonville Jaguars tickets (26): $168
- Buffalo Bills tickets (31): $168
- Cleveland Browns tickets (28): $153
- Atlanta Falcons tickets (8): $91
The New York Giants are a middle-of-the-pack 16 on the ESPN list, but the G-men are tops in ticket demand in part because they play out of the biggest sports market in the U.S. But, The Giants and the New York Jets share something that is driving up demand and ticket prices — their brand new home, the New Meadowlands Stadium.
There are a few surprising results on our list, especially the New England Patriots rank of 27th in fan demand. Boston sports teams are consistently some of the hottest in all of sports. This year, Pats ticket prices are down compared to the rest of the NFL.
For all NFL tickets to the upcoming NFL season, check out FanSnap for great values on the best available tickets in the secondary ticket market.

With all the NFL Week 16 games having been played — except for the Vikings @ Chicago on Monday Night Football, which will not impact playoff spots (the Vikes already clinched the division and the Bears have been mathematically eliminated) — we are now getting a clearer playoff picture.
AFC Playoff seeds (teams that have clinched)
- Indianapolis Colts tickets 14-1
- San Diego Chargers tickets 12-3
- New England Patriots tickets 10-5
- Cincinnati Bengals tickets 10-5
NFC Playoff seeds (teams that have clinched)
- New Orleans Saints tickets 13-2
- Minnesota Vikings tickets 11-3
- Philadelphia Eagles tickets 11-4
- Arizona Cardinals tickets 10-5
- Green Bay Packers tickets 10-5
- Dallas Cowboys tickets 10-5
With the seasons they’ve had, you might guess the Colts, Saints and Vikings are the hottest tickets in the NFL. Those are safe bets considering they are the top playoff seeds. We took a look at the playoff teams to see who had the hottest tickets and we were a bit surtpried by the results. The Saints and Vikings weren’t even in the top 5. The Dallas Cowboys took the top spot. Here’s how the rest of the teams shook out.
Hottest NFL tickets
- Dallas Cowboys tickets
- Indianapolis Colts tickets
- Philadelphia Eagles tickets
- Pittsburgh Steelers tickets
- New England Patriots tickets
- New York Giants tickets
- New Orleans Saints tickets
- Miami Dolphins tickets
- San Diego Chargers tickets
- Chicago Bears tickets
- Minnesota Vikings tickets
- Cincinnati Bengals tickets
- Washington Redskins tickets
- New York Jets tickets
- Denver Broncos tickets
- Atlanta Falcons tickets
- Seattle Seahawks tickets
- Arizona Cardinals tickets
- Green Bay Packers tickets
If playoff spots were determined by the fans who wanted it the most, we expect Pittsburgh and Miami to secure the final two slots in the AFC.

We here at FanSnap cherish the Thanksgiving triumvirate of family, food and football! Of course Turkey Day is a time to give thanks, but we confess, we love to watch Thanksgiving Day football. If you’re lucky enough to be in Detroit, Denver or Dallas on Thanksgiving, we thought you might want to know which game was the toughest ticket to score so we pulled together this chart of average ticket prices.

Average ticket prices for Thanksgiving Day NFL games
It’s no contest. It’s the Big D. Raiders at Dallas is the hot ticket. The Gaints @ Broncos was equally tough to get a few weeks ago before they dropped a few games. Since the Broncos started losing, ticket prices have gone down and availability has gone up.
Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions Ford Field (Detroit, MI)
Thu, Nov 26 at 12:30PM 300+ tickets
Oakland Raiders @ Dallas Cowboys Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, TX)
Thu, Nov 26 at 3:15PM 400+ tickets
New York Giants @ Denver Broncos Invesco Field at Mile High (Denver, CO)

Happy Thanksgiving from FanSnap and for those of you not in Dallas, Denver or Detroit; remember to grab a wing, a leg and a spot close to the TV!

Maybe the Dallas Cowboys still are America’s team! Football fans, already searching for and purchasing NFL tickets, have spoken loud and clear since the league announced its schedule in April. Today the NFL announced the regular season schedule, much to the delight of football fans everywhere. WhIle the match-ups have been available for a while, now fans know the actual dates.
What most fans don’t know is that even though the tickets for those games will not be delivered to season ticketholders for some time, long time ticketholders already know where their seats are. As a result, some of those fans have already listed some of their tickets for resale on many sites around the web. Of course, there will be many more fans buying and selling up to and throughout the season.
However, if you want to lock those tickets in now, you can search for your favorite team on FanSnap already.
There are some great early season games that just jump off the schedule!
(Sep 14) Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots
(Sep 20) Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears
(Sep 20) NY Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
