We chronicled Kanye West’s antics on the MTV VMAs last week (Taylor Swift vs Beyonce and Kanye’s to Blame). Kanye attempted to make amends on the new Jay Leno Show, but the self-proclaimed “voice of this generation” is facing a continued public backlash. On Twitter, people are interrupting each other and call it being #Kanyed. It’s in fun, but the ongoing negative publicity can’t make for a good time to launch a tour.

But that’s just what Kanye did. The now cancelled Fame Kills Starring Kanye West and Lady Gaga was slated to kick off in Phoenix on November 10. Tickets are on sale now. Here is the list of concert dates and locations.

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

The MTV Video Music Awards are over, yet the world is still abuzz over the Kanye West/Taylor Swift fiasco.

Antics aside, there were some memorable moments. Pink blew us away singing her latest hit  “Sober,” while wowing the crowd with a full on acrobatic performance (very Cirque de Soliel-esque).

Ticket prices can be a great gauge of fan excitement. Pink is currently on tour. Pink tickets are surging on her performance at the VMAs. Pink’s Funhouse tour ticket prices have even increased since she rocked the VMAs – up from $164 to $175.

The more than 2,000 Pink-related tweets on Twitter during her performance generally were raves.

Pink is in San Jose, CA September 17. Pink hits Los Angeles, CA September 18.  Pink will also be playing a New York’s Madison Square Garden on Monday, October 5 and wraps up the P!nk World Tour 2009 New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. You can see a full list of Pink tickets and tour dates on FanSnap:

The 2009 VMAs had other great performances, including Taylor Swift who performed “You Belong With Me” on the NYC subway five minutes after getting dissed by Kanye West. Taylor Swift continues to see a steady increase in her average ticket price.  Jay-Z, however, who performed “Empire State of Mind” with the mind-blowing Alicia Keys (not only on vocals but also on the piano), continues to see the opposite trend, a decrease in average ticket prices.
