Keith Urban Announces 2011 Tour
Wednesday, December 1st, 2010Aussie superstar Keith Urban just released his seventh album, Get Closer, and now he’s wooing fans with a World Tour. Keith Urban tickets don’t go on sale until Feb. 11 but as your favorite ticket site, we’re here providing all the details you need to know.
Urban’s 2011 tour includes 44 U.S. dates starting on June 16 in Alabama and wrapping up Oct. 15 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
“Playing live is what it’s always been about for me,” Urban said in a statement on his website. “It’s creating in the moment, it’s the joy, the electricity, the unexpected, the passion and the unknown journey that we’re all taking together. I’ve always felt that the best live concert experiences tap into a deep need in all of us to feel a part of something … to belong. I’m bringing the big boom box and an arsenal of songs and I can’t wait to throw this party!!!!”
As if being married to Nicole Kidman isn’t enough, earlier this year Urban won best male video of the year award at the 2010 CMT Music Awards. He was even recognized as the favorite male artist at the People’s Choice Awards!
