Rascal Flatts Celebrates 10 Years with “Nothing Like This Tour”
Friday, June 4th, 2010The Rascal Flatts are celebrating 10 years in country music in 2010. The trio will launch their “Nothing Like This Tour” sponsored by JC Penny later this month in Raleigh, NC. Their tour will continue through the fall for 26 shows before concluding in Boston on Sept. 19th.
Rascal Flatts began their career in 2000 with their first Top 10 single, “Prayin’ For Daylight.” Since then, the trio has continued to rack up hit after hit with 11 #1 singles and only two of their 26 singles failing to reach the Top 10. During the past decade, Rascal Flatts has sold over 20 million albums and had more than 25 million downloads. All six Rascal Flatts albums have made the list of Billboard’s Top 100 Country Albums of the Decade. Rascal Flatts Tickets continue to be one of the hottest tickets in any genre of music. They have headlined 400 of their 700 shows since 2000 and sold nearly 6 million tickets. In addition to three consecutive sell out shows at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, Rascal Flatts are the only country music act to sell out Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

With a decade of making country music under their belts, Rascal Flatts will embark on their “Nothing Like This Tour” on June 25th. The tour will continue their year long celebration that included a tribute to country radio and songwriters earlier this year. “We’re going to have a big brand-new tour in summer of 2010, and it’s going to start the celebration of 10 years of Rascal Flatts”, says Jay DeMarcus of the Flatts in the Tennessean. “We’re going to have a lot of big surprises and do some old stuff that will throw some people off, and there will be some big surprises, and we’re going to keep doing what we’ve done. Our live shows are what we live for, and they’ve been the most rewarding part of what we’ve been able to do. Our fans are incredible. Each and every night in every city everywhere we go, we throw a huge, huge party. Every show we’ve done since we’ve headlined, I don’t know how, but it feels like it’s getting bigger and bigger and better and better.”
Rascal Flatts will be bringing a few friends out on their “Nothing Like This Tour”. American Idol sweetheart, Kellie Pickler and Nashville Star winner, Chris Young will be supporting Rascal Flatts on their 2010 Summer Tour. Rascal Flatts Tickets
will be hard to get at all 26 venues. Be sure to check out FanSnap for all your summer concert tickets.
