Linkin Park Announces 2011 Tour

Monday, November 15th, 2010

For Linkin Park fans, the wait is finally over. Linkin Park tickets go on sale Saturday for the band’s first full U.S. tour since 2008!

Linkin Park’s 2011 tour kicks off January 20 in Sunrise, FL and wraps up February 20 in Denver. Yep, that’s right. 20 dates. 20 chances to catch Linkin Park live!

The tour supports the band’s latest album, A Thousand Suns, however the tour’s set list will be a nice combination of hits from throughout Linkin Park’s career.

The new album came out in September and has been described as, “a psychedelic journey that explores the conflict between technology and humanity.” While we’re not so sure about that summary, we do know the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart back and eight weeks later, is still charting on the 200, this week at No. 33. NICE!

Even though Linkin Park took a lengthy break from touring, they were just voted ‘Best Live Act’ at the 2010 MTV European Music Awards. Of course that just adds to their many accolades. Linkin Park has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and have won two Grammy Awards.
