(Update) Your next ticket to see Taylor Swift will be on November 7, 2009 when the emerging star hosts Saturday Night Live . Let’s see… We’d better see a skit that is Taylor’s visualization of how the VMA Kanye, Beyonce debacle should have played out. We’d like to see Taylor Swift brawling with Kanye, even if it is an SNL skit. SNL should also do a recurring skit throughout the night with Taylor Swift dating Taylor Lautner to make fun of her rumored relationship with the Twilight star. What else?

Taylor Swift tickets are among the hottest ticket fans searched for on FanSnap of any ticket in any Genre this year. Taylor admitted on her website that she was surprised at how popular her tickets were. On the heels of that success, Taylor announced new dates for the continuation of the Fearless tour for 2010 on her website.

Taylor’s good friend, American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler, again joins Taylor as a featured artist on all of the North American FEARLESS dates, and top selling new artist of 2009 Gloriana returns to open all of the shows.

Of course there is some irony here that we couldn’t help but notice. Just last month, Kanye West stormed the stage at the MTV VMAs and interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech for  “best female video.” Kanye went on Leno the next night and apologized. Just a few weeks later, Kanye West In Spite of Taylor Swift MTV VMA Debacle Announces Tour with Lady GaGa, which was canceled shortly after it was announced.

Now, Taylor, who at 19 is the youngest artist in history to be nominated for the Country Music Association’s prestigious Entertainer of the Year Award, will kick off her FEARLESS 2010 Tour on February 4th in Brisbane, Australia and play five shows Down Under before beginning her North American run on March 4th in Tampa, Florida. In 2010, Taylor will headline 37 shows in 29 cities in 22 states and provinces in the US and Canada.

Here’s what some of the nation’s top critics had to say about Taylor Swift and the FEARLESS 2009 Tour:

“Swift’s fans don’t just believe in her savvy songwriting and gracious, magnetic stage presence. They trust her as a peer. And if the unerring pleasures of her set – and the crowd’s Beatles-sized reactions – were any indication, they’ll be trusting her for a long time.” – The Los Angeles Times

“Country queen Taylor Swift charms the L.A. crowd.” – The Hollywood Reporter

“The two-hour, three-act spectacle doesn’t slow down.” – Rolling Stone

“Swift delivers delight at the Garden. For nearly two hair-flinging, spangly gowned hours, Swift showed why she’s all set to be the biggest star around. Swift writes like Everygirl and sings like her hero. That’s a combination that can’t be beat. A delightful performance. . ..her sold-out show felt more like a victory lap.” – New York Newsday

You may be the biggest Taylor Swift fan, or maybe her brand of country isn’t your cup of tea. Regardless, this story has to make you think, “go Taylor!”

Tickets Map of Angel Stadium for the MLB ALCS in Los Angeles

Tickets Map of Angel Stadium for the MLB ALCS

The Angels and Dodgers have both locked up berths to the ALCS and NLCS respectively. The Angels head to New York to face the Yankees in Games 1 and 2 of the ALCS and then return home for Games 3-5. The Angels will return to New York for Games 6,7 as necessary.

There is tremendous ticket availability and price variability for the series. For example, in the Field MVP 112, on Monday (Oct. 19), there are tickets listed for $125 in the same row as tickets listed for $550. There are clearly values to be had. The trick is to check often and then move quickly when you find what you’re looking for. The ticket market, like the stock market is based on supply and demand. When there are values to be had — like below — they will get snapped up quickly.

NFL FanDemand Rankings – Week 2

The defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers fell out of the #1 slot in the FanSnap FanDemandsm rankings this week as they travel to Chicago to take on the Bears. The Bears now sit atop the FanDemand rankings. The Steelers maintain a strong #2 position, which means both Steelers fans and Bears fans will be vying for the hottest ticket in the NFL — seats at Soldier Field on Sunday. (see the complete rankings below)

The Cowboys and Patriots remain in the top five. The Giants moved up from #7 to #4. The Eagles fell from #2 to #6.

The Eagles were at Carolina last week, and have the red-hot Saints at home on Sunday, but will likely be without Donavan McNabb who fractured ribs in the Panther game.

The Giants visit the new Cowboys Stadium for the first time on Sunday for what has become a heated rivalry game with the Cowboys. Both teams are coming off season-opening wins. Fans of both teams have high expectations this season.

The Patriots slipped a slot in the rankings this week possibly due to the trouble the team had with the Bills in week 1 – even with QB Tom Brady back under center. The Pats travel to East Rutherford to take on the Jets.

The Bengals (up from #23 last week to #7 this week) travel to Green Bay to take on the #8 Packers.

The Monday night game features the #18 Dolphins at #17 Colts.
