Giants Tickets and Home Schedule

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

The New York Football Giants started the 2009 season a perfect 5-0. The Giants then lost four in a row — finishing the season a disappointing 8-8. Giants fans hope the move to the new Meadowlands stadium (shared with the Jets) will give Eli Manning and the G-men the spark they need to get back to their winning ways. The Giants will play the first game in the new Meadowlands Stadium. The shared stadium should present some interesting opportunities to see which will will be hotter — Jets tickets or Giants tickets.

FanSnap’s Most Popular NFL Tickets in Oct.

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

During October, the Giants moved up three slots to the #1 most searched for NFL tickets on FanSnap.  The Vikings also moved up three slots to the #6 hottest tickets in the NFL, thanks to the high profile play of the definitely not retired Brett Favre.  The undefeated Saints and the Dolphins also moved into the top ten:

1.  NY Giants tickets

2.  Pittsburgh Steelers tickets

3.  Dallas Cowboys tickets

4.  Chicago Bears tickets

5.  Philadelphia Eagles tickets

6.  Minnesota Vikings tickets

7.  Denver Broncos tickets

8.  New England Patriots tickets

9.  New Orleans Saints tickets

10.  Miami Dolphins tickets

Speaking of Favre, he enjoyed himself immensely this past weekend as he threw for four touchdowns in the Vikings’ visit to the Packers at Lambeau Field.  Green Bay fans, who are most certainly counting on Favre to retire into the Hall of Fame as a Packer, nonetheless booed him mightily.  Brett, comfortable as if he were wearing his Wranglers,  just took the Cheesehead chortles in stride and torched his old team for old times sake.  Gee, maybe they will see each other in the NFL playoffs again!

Maybe the Dallas Cowboys still are America’s team!  Football fans, already searching for and purchasing NFL tickets, have spoken loud and clear since the league announced its schedule in April.  Season ticketholders, even though they may not have their tickets in hand yet from the teams, often know their seats, and as usual are listing their extra tickets already for future delivery.

Drum line please!  Who are by far the most popular teams, based on the number of searches on FanSnap?

1.  Dallas Cowboys tickets

2.  New York Giants tickets

3.  Pittsburgh Steelers tickets

4.  Chicago Bears tickets

5.  New England Patriots tickets

Patriots fans, invigorated by the return of Tom Brady, narrowly edged out the fans searching for New York Jets tickets in their new stadium (which they of course share with the Giants).

Checking out the first regular season home games of these popular teams, it looks like there are lots of ticket listings for these excited fans to choose from, although the market prices vary widely:

NFL Schedule Equals NFL Tickets!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Today the NFL announced the regular season schedule, much to the delight of football fans everywhere.  WhIle the match-ups have been available for a while, now fans know the actual dates.

What most fans don’t know is that even though the tickets for those games will not be delivered to season ticketholders for some time, long time ticketholders already know where their seats are.  As a result, some of those fans have already listed some of their tickets for resale on many sites around the web.  Of course, there will be many more fans buying and selling up to and throughout the season.

However, if you want to lock those tickets in now, you can search for your favorite team on FanSnap already.

There are some great early season games that just jump off the schedule!

(Sep 14) Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

(Sep 20) Pittsburgh Steelers @ Chicago Bears

(Sep 20) NY Giants @ Dallas Cowboys
