Storylines abound for the fast-approaching bowl season. The BCS National Championship Game is the hottest ticket this year. The Bama-Texas matchup will be the first meeting in more than 30 years for two of the most storied programs in college football history. The Crimson Tide boasts Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram in the backfield. Longhorn QB Colt McCoy came in a close third in Heisman voting. Bama and Texas are undefeated going into the National Championship game.
Rose Bowl tickets are the second hottest ticket this bowl season. Oregon fans dominate ticket searches 3:1 over fans searching from Ohio. Look for lots of green in Pasadena.
The Gator Bowl isn’t a BCS bowl, but still ranks as the #3 most searched game. look for Florida State fans to bid head coach Bobby Bowden a fond farewell. The Gator Bowl will be Bobby Bowden’s curtain call as the Seminoles take on the Mountaineers in the last game of Bowden’s 34-year run at FSU.
