Blue October, an alternative rock band from Houston, debuted in 1998 with the album The Answers. The band is made up of brothers Justin (vocals/guitar) and Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums/percussion), Ryan Delohoussaye, a classically trained violinist who plays several instruments and C. B Hudson, the guitarist who joined the band before the release of their third album History for Sale, which features the hit song "Calling You." Along with the single "Hate You," from the album Foiled, these two singles brought the band worldwide fame and recognition. Approaching Normal, their fifth album, was released in 2009.
