Coldplay, formed in 1996 by lead vocalist Chris Martin and lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, catapulted to commercial and critical success in 2001 with their album Parachutes, featuring their hit singles "Shiver," "Yellow," "Trouble," and "Don't Panic." They've since released several studio albums, A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y, and Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. A live Coldplay show is a unique experience, with their large selection of songs and Martin's haunting vocals.
