The eclectic sound created by Dave Matthews Band has assured them a fan base that is varied and vast. Their live performances are peppered with elaborate videos and lighting effects which keep audiences captivated. Their 2009 album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King debuted on Billboard 200 at #1. This is their fifth consecutive debut at #1, a milestone equaled only by Metallica. DMB has been awarded the NAACP Chairman's Award and have one Grammy Award to its credit.
