Their live performances are peppered with elaborate videos and lighting effects which keep audiences captivated. Their 2009 album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King debuted on Billboard 200 at #1. This is their fifth consecutive debut at #1, a milestone equaled only by Metallica. DMB has been awarded the NAACP Chairman's Award and have one Grammy Award to its credit.
