Along with partner Walter Becker, Donald Fagen formed various music groups with different musicians until the finally formed Steely Dan with Denny Dias. In 1977, their album Aja hit number three in the U.S. charts, and 23 years later in 2000, their album Two Against Nature also won the Grammy for Album of the Year. Donald Fagen's first solo album The Nightly reached the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum. Kamakiriad and Morph the Cat followed and Donald Fagen's tour performances received rave reviews. Collaborations with other artists and sound track contributions to films are among the other interests of this rock and pop star.
