Doobie Brothers

With over 30 million albums sold in the U.S. over a span of four decades, the Doobie Brothers were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004. Their initial rock and pop music albums were characterized by dual lead electric guitars and energetic drumming but with albums Taking' It To The Streets and Livin' on the Fault Line their sound changed to a subtler soft rock, with more developed melody. It was their sheer talent and energy that led to the group's compilation The Best of the Doobies being certified diamond. Minute By Minute topped the charts and so did Cycle, Brotherhood, and Sibling Rivalry in the next three decades.
