The Georgetown Hoyas basketball team represents Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. The team has reached the NCAA Tournament Final Four five times, winning the National Championship in 1984. The Hoyas have been a perennial contender over the years, winning the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament seven times, and the Big East regular season title four times. The Georgetown Hoyas have produced a number of NBA talents, including former New York Knicks center Patrick Ewing and superstar guard Allen Iverson.
