Yellow Jackets football represents the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Since 1892, "the Ramblin' Wreck" has won four college national football championships and 15 conference titles. Under Coach John Heisman, the Jackets notched 104 in 16 seasons and won the national title in 1917.Coach William Alexander took Georgia Tech to the Rose Bowl, the Orange Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl. In all, the Yellow Jackets have appeared in 38 bowl games, of which they won 22.
