Grand Ole Opry: Loretta Lynn, Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, Crystal Gayle, Trace Adkins, & Lee Ann Womack

The Grand Ole Opry is the Mecca of country music. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, it has produced a bevy of American country singers and still stages weekly concerts today. It was started in 1925 to felicitate country music singers and to salute the American music heritage. With its own popular radio station, a home at the Ryman Auditorium (since 1943) and the "who's who" of country music like Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire on its roster, the Grand Ole Opry has helped Nashville subsequently became the "musical capital of America."
