The early 1970s saw the emergence of American rock band Heart. Their music comprises hard rock, folk music, pop songs and lilting ballads. The band hit its stride in the 1980s, producing hard rock tracks which earned them the # 57 slot on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. "Barracuda," "Heart," "What About Love," "Almost Love" are some of their biggest hit songs. Band members Nancy and Ann Wilson were part of the We Are the World concert in Haiti in January 2010.
