One of America's oldest performing arts organizations, Houston Symphony Orchestra continues to captivate audiences with some of the best classical music around. The orchestra has matured under the baton of some distinguished leaders such as Ernst Hoffmann (1936-47) and André Previn (1967-69) and the latest being Hans Graf who is the Symphony's fifteenth music director. The Houston Symphony Orchestra has the reputation of being one of the top orchestras in the world.
