The Kansas Jayhawks play their home games in Memorial Stadium, the country's seventh oldest college football stadium, in Lawrence, Kansas. With a 6-6 record in their bowl appearances, the Jayhawks have appeared three times in the Orange Bowl. Gale Sayers, John Riggins, John Hadl and Mike McCormack are famous alumni who made a name for themselves at K.U. The Missouri Tigers are the Jayhawks' major rival, and the annual game between to two teams is nicknamed "The Border War."
