The musical Mamma Mia!, composed by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, is based on the music of Swedish pop group ABBA. The composers are former members of the band and have been involved in developing the show from the start. The musical includes hits such as "Take A Chance on Me," "Thank you For the Music," "Money, Money, Money," among others. Said to be the brainchild of producer Judy Craymer, the musical opened in 1999 on London's West End and has spawned numerous productions the world over and a 2008 film adaptation as well.
