The Memphis Grizzlies (originally the Vancouver Grizzlies) are led by star forward Rudy Gay and the very experienced squad of Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, Tony Allen and Mike Conley. Marreese Speights, Jerryd Bayless and Josh Selby will provide plenty of firepower off the bench. The Grizzlies are a defensive juggernaut, leading the NBA in steals and turnovers forced the last two seasons, and are one of the better scoring teams, so they fully expect to build on their playoff success last season.
