Recognized by their baby blue and white uniforms, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's basketball team, the Tar Heels, is one of the most popular college basketball programs in the country. UNC has produced a number of revered NBA stars, including NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. The Heels have won five NCAA Tournament championships. Playing home games at the Dean Smith Center (named for its legendary former coach), UNC has earned 17 ACC titles.
