Texas A&M Aggies @ Oklahoma Sooners

The University of Oklahoma Sooners athletic programs have had a recent history of success at the Division I level. The men's basketball program has been highly successful since the 1980s, gaining prominence under coach Billy Tubbs, and later coach Kelvin Sampson (the team is now coached by Jeff Capel). Playing at the Lloyd Noble Center, the Oklahoma Sooners have had several alumni reach the NBA, most notably Wayman Tisdale and Stacey King. While a national championship still eludes the program, Oklahoma ranks second in most tournament wins without a championship.
