The Orlando Magic, founded in 1989 as an expansion franchise, has experienced tremendous success in their relatively short existence. They have made the playoffs 12 out of 21 seasons, including a 2009 NBA Finals appearance against the Los Angeles Lakers. Since the days of Shaquille O'Neal's dominance in Orlando, Magic tickets have been a hot commodity. Current star center Dwight Howard leads a new-look Orlando team that has added pieces in the hopes of competing with the Celtics in the East for a berth into the NBA Finals come 2011.
