The strength of New Jersey rock band Railroad Earth, which takes its name from a Jack Kerouac short story, lies in its excellent lyrics and rhythmic music rendered by an ensemble of talented instrumentalists. Their live performances are richly enhanced by powerful acoustics and reflect the ethos of American life. Railroad Earth's music features experimentations with Celtic, bluegrass, folk and jazz.
