American stand-up comedian, actor and country music artist Rodney Carrington was born in Longview, Texas. His comedy act is a combination of original songs and stand-up comedy. He has also released six major-label studio albums and a greatest hits package as well. He starred in the sitcom Rodney (2004-2006), adding to his comedy repertoire. Carrington released his first Christmas album, Make It Christmas in 2009; the first single from the album, "Camouflage and Christmas Lights," became his first Top 40 country hit.
