Dealing their prized first baseman Adrian Gonzalez in the 2010 off-season to the Boston Red Sox, the San Diego Padres are looking to stockpile young players to compete in their pitcher-friendly home stadium, Petco Park. The "Pods" won NL West division in 2005 and 2006 and nearly again in 2010, finishing second to the eventual World Series champion San Francisco Giants.
