Scissor Sisters

Scissor Sisters, formed in 2001, is an American pop and rock band whose musical style draws from disco, glam rock, and the New York City club scene. The group consists of Jake Shears, Ana Matronic, Babydaddy, Del Marquis, and Randy Real. In 2004, they gained public attention with the release of their self-titled debut album, from which they achieved chart success in Australia, Canada, parts of Europe and the United Kingdom. The band was described by Bono as "the best pop group in the world at the moment" in 2004.
