The German heavy metal/hard rock band Scorpions is known for its 1980s rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and other singles "No One Like You," "Send Me an Angel," "Still Loving You," and "Wind of Change." "Hurricane" was #18 on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs and the band was ranked #46 on VH1's list of the Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. The Scorpions have sold between 100 and 150 million albums worldwide. In 2010 the band announced their retirement, after 45 years of performing, upon the return from their tour promoting their latest album, Sting in the Tail.
