Formerly known as Danger Kitty, Metal Shop and Metal Skool, glam metal band Steel Panther hails from Los Angeles, and their music is characterized by profane and humorous lyrics. They reworked a song by Aldo Nova, "Fantasy," into a faster song for the MTV original series Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. Their 2009 album Feel the Steel peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 50 Heatseekers chart for new and developing acts.
