The a capella men's singing group, Straight No Chaser, derives its members from Indiana University's Straight No Chaser, an amateur college group. SNC has been active in the "a capella circuit" for many years now, and in 2006 launched a viral video of their rendition of "The 12 Days of Christmas." They performed live concerts in New York City during summer 2009 and in March 2010, integrating new pop songs into their act.
