Switchfoot

American alternative rock band Switchfoot is perhaps best known for its energetic live shows. The three guitarists, Jon Foreman, Jerome Fontamillas and Drew Shirley, often operate simultaneously. During its performances, the band coordinates on what they have called "the Switchfoot sound," a melodic crunch of densely layered sound featuring electronic experimentation, working with both hard guitar riffs and spacey ballads. Switchfoot has earned major notoriety on the Christian rock scene.
