The UNLV Rebels play college football for the University of Nevada Las Vegas, as a member of the Mountain West Conference in NCAA Division I. The University debuted its football program in 1968, and currently plays its home games at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada. Several notable former Rebels have gone onto success both on and off the field, including retired NFL star Randall Cunningham, ESPN broadcaster Kenny Mayne, and casino Mogul George J. Maloof Jr.
