Utah State University's football team, the Utah State Aggies, began their program back in 1892. Their home games have been played at Romney Stadium since 1968 and the team has won 11 championships across four different conferences. The Aggies have competed in five bowl games, winning the Las Vegas Bowl in 1993 by defeating Ball State. The Aggies have also produced a number of NFL-bound players, including current pro tight end Chris Cooley.
