Apart from being one of the most famous cellists of the modern age, American composer Yo Yo Ma is also a renowned virtuoso and a winner of multiple Grammy Awards. He began performing before audiences at the age of 5, later performing for Presidents John F. Kennedy and Dwight D. Eisenhower at the age of 7. His performances of Johann Sebastian Bach's Cello Suites recorded in 1983, and again from 1994 to 1997, are highly acclaimed.
